Mountain Supply and Service, is seeking a Chemical Sales Representative to work out of its retail location in Wheeling, WV. ***Competitive Pay, Benefits, and Great Work Schedule****

Qualifications:

  • Preferred 3 years of selling experience in the oil and gas industry and/or related products
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years selling directly to companies
  • Minimum 4 year college degree preferred

Sales Market Knowledge:

1. Analyze and understand the market and territory assigned.
2. Gain a working knowledge of the oil and gas plays in the assigned territory.
3. Identify the Operators in the market as well as the service companies they utilize (i.e. - Who does their coiled tubing).
4. Identify the decision makers within the Operators (i.e. – Completions Engineer, Procurement, Operations Manager, etc.). Update the National Sales Manager with this data on a consistent basis.
5. Identify the Drilling and Completions forecast and/or schedules of the Operator(s).
6. Identify the Service Companies in the territory and the specific discipline(s) they represent (i.e. – coiled tubing, flowback, etc.).
7. Identify the decision makers within each of the service companies. Update the National Sales Manager with this data on a consistent basis.
8. For the Coiled Tubing service companies identify the number of coiled tubing units they are running along with their completions forecast and/or schedule.

Current Account Management:

1. Utilize the information gained from market and territory analysis to maintain existing customer accounts and seek to grow the existing business.
2. Utilize the information gained from market and territory analysis to maximize sales of all that MSS offers.
3. Identify and meet the Company Men of all the Operators we are doing business with, whether directly or indirectly through a service company, and maintain a consistent contact with the Company Man at each location on a weekly basis.
4. Follow up with the appropriate customer contact when a sale is made within 24 hours.
5. Identify and maintain a consistent working relationship with the other Service Companies. Drive the business through on-site point of contact at their shops.
6. Identify the products/parts that each customer needs as well as their usage of those products/parts.
7. Develop sales strategy and communication plan based upon their forecasted needs and prior usage.
8. Handle all customer complaints and issues in a timely manner in accordance with the procedures and values of Mountain Supply and Service.
9. Maintain previously established monthly sales and margin targets.
10. Collaborate with other MSS employees to ensure each customer receives exceptional customer service.
11. Communicate information effectively to both employees and customers.
12. Maintain weekly communication with Division Manager and local Operations Manager giving updates on all sales activities.
13. Keep management informed of any issues in order to maintain everyday competitive pricing.
14. Use available technology to further the sales process.
15. Responsible for own estimates and job quotes.
16. Ability to write field tickets for billing purposes and obtain customer signatures.
17. Consistently maintain and promote a “Safety First” attitude with all employees.
18. Pass all company required physical and drug testing examinations.
19. All other job duties and responsibilities as determined by management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
